Jeanneau Prestige 36 Power

Modern Jeanneau power boat capable of 28 Knots fitted with 2 x 380hp Volvo Penta Turbo + Supercharged Diesel Engines Below and plenty of cream leather and walnut above, you can do that course with style. 
Other equipment includes 12cd Auto changer with outdoor speakers, The latest Raymarine chart plotter with radar overlay, MARPA radar tracking system, Microwave, and most important, a massive fridge.  
Learning should be fun and enjoyable and that's exactly what this boat was made for and you can learn how to use all the latest navigation equipment not normally found on school yachts.

GMDSS VHF, CD, radio, hot water system and much more for you to use and gain experience with the latest electronic equipment.

Great for competitive fun and corporate charter.

These are great training yachts with a double helm position, three private cabins and one bunks cabin. They are comfy and big enough for the Straits of Gibraltar but small enough to handle easily.

On board are Autopilot, hand held GPS, hand held VHF, Radar, GPS, Chart Navigation System, VHF DSC radio, CD/radio system with speakers in the cockpit and saloon, hot water and a great saloon.



Above the layout plan showing the two good size doubles aft and the master cabin forward. There are two bunks on the Starboard side aft of the forward cabin. She is also equipped with two heads (toilet and washbasin).

With all the latest Raymarine electronics including with the above is wind speed and direction, log and speed all integrated with the radar and char navigation system. This is a must for those interested in the electronic side of navigation.

She has a large comfy saloon great galley and a good sized chart table area.

Her accommodation is 2 double aft cabins, 1 forward cabin and 2 single berths in the saloon.  She is fitted with bimini for that essential shade in the sunshine and a bathing platform for the cooling dip.

This is a really easy to handle yacht available for family, group or single person bookings. We use this yacht along with the Jeanneau for Yachtmaster prep.

  Safety Requirements.

All our yachts are safety coded to a high standard.

These rules are for your safety.

The coding on all our yachts is MCA for coastal use up to 60 miles offshore.

This means the boat is allowed to operate legally up to 60 miles off shore.

It is very important when doing any sort of charter or sailing course that you check the Yacht and skipper are legal.

To check if a Yacht you are chartering or doing a course on is coded for the use it is being put to contact the RYA or the MCA

Requirements
 RYA Instructor qualifications.

Up to Day skipper level an RYA cruising instructor can teach you any level above this and a full RYA Yachtmaster instructor is required. Make sure you are being taught by an instructor qualified to teach the course you are on.

RYA Theory Courses regulations.

The regulations on teaching theory are very clear. Theory, for an RYA certificate, can only be taught using a approved distance learning method by a school recognised to teach them or in a classroom by a school recognised by the RYA to teach theory courses.

Theory courses taught on a yacht, self taught or by use of a distance learning pack issued by a school not recognised to provide distance learning can not qualify a student for an exam or theory certificate.
